King Ewlon is a very honorable man. He understood his role as Steward of the Khalian Solar System, and he understood that he was the servant to that entire system. He put his own personal priorities second to that of the people that he served.

Milan Mariko is an interesting character. He appears to be cowardly, but he really is a very brave person. What causes his bravery? When he stole The Planet Star, he was really motivated by his own greed. Actually, he had a two-fold purpose: He wanted The Planet Star to be returned to its rightful owner, but he also understood that having it could make him very rich. Was his friendship with Ewlon eclipsed by his personal greed?
